WHAT IS THE FLIGHTLINE TWO?

The Flightline Two is Haro’s recreational mountain bike.

It’s designed for riders who are looking to ride rail trails and bike paths with the family and friends or general fitness.

THE FRAME

The Flightline’s new X6 6000-series frame is a better than average aluminium frame and easily comparable, if not better than, the best brands out there.

The multi-butted design means it has a better strength-to-weight ratio. Haro engineer’s have been able to remove material where it’s not required and added material where it is necessary.

Internal cable routing at this price point it’s rare to see.

Most of the cables are fed inside the Flightline’s frame rather than zip-tied to the outside.

Not only does this make the bike look cleaner and neater, it will also reduce maintenance on gear and brake cables.

WHO IS THE FLIGHTLINE 27.5 FOR?

The Haro Flightline Two 27.5 is going to be the go to mountain bike for younger riders who are upgrading from their much smaller bike.

The 27.5-inch wheels ensure a lower standover height for easy mounting and dismounting.

It’s easy for young riders to handle and manoeuvre around. The smaller wheel diameter (compared to 29-inch wheels) reacts easier to small inputs making the bike more responsive and agile.

The wide tyres deliver superb grip and comfort, and their low-tread profile ensures the Flightline Two rolls easily.

THE COMPONENTS

There are a total of 24-gears.

But before you freak out or assume your brain will turn to mush at the mere thought of 24 different gears – just hear me out.

2 paddle-style levers control the gears.

One makes it harder to pedal and the other easier. As long as the rider’s pedalling forwards and shifting gears you can’t stuff it up.

Mechanical disc brakes also work better than V-brakes (or rim brakes). They deliver more stopping power in dry and wet conditions and any sideways movement in the rim doesn’t affect stopping performance.

SR Suntour’s XCE 28 front suspension helps smooth out bumps from rough bike paths, dirt and gravel roads.
